Protection Ritual Smoke / Botanical Incense Blend

2 oz reusable aluminum tin

What is Botanical Incense?

The practice of burning herbs, flowers, bark, resins and other plant parts for the aromatic smoke they release is a tradition that goes back to ancient times, across many different cultures.

All-natural and hand blended in Canada in small batches, each Ritual Smoke is a carefully selected collection of botanical ingredients chosen for their fragrance and traditional uses. Includes five charcoal discs to create long-lasting, flame-free heat for the herbs and resins to release their aroma in rich, fragrant smoke.

Our white sage and patchouli is carefully tended in our own medicinal gardens and gently combined with wildcrafted prairie sage, organic heather and sacred myrrh resin to assist with protection and purification rituals. Contains a genuine black tourmaline gemstone.

SCENT PROFILE: earthy, musky, grounding.

INGREDIENTS & BENEFITS

We use only herbs, resins and botanicals that are either grown in our own medicinal gardens, responsibly and ethically wildcrafted, or sourced from our trusted organic suppliers. Carefully tested on family and friends, never on animals.

  • sage: sage has been used a sacred herb for many centuries, with different cultures using whichever sage was found in their region. the distinctive scent of white sage is somewhat sharp, earthy and herbaceous and traditionally used to cleanse, heal and protect.

  • patchouli: the deep, musky and sweet aroma of patchouli is associated with the element of earth and provides strong protective and grounding energy.

  • heather: heather is known for attracting positive energies and good luck while providing protection from danger. it is often included in bridal bouquets to ensure luck, peace and cooperation in the couple’s household.

  • myrrh resin: with its smoky, earthy scent, myrrh has been used as an ingredient in incense and perfumes since ancient times and was used to anoint kings and scent the fabric of pilgrims travelling to holy places.

  • black tourmaline: highly valued for it’s protective qualities and use as a powerful grounding stone, providing a connection between Earth and the human spirit.

 TO USE

Use in ritual, ceremony or meditation, as you would traditional incense.

Place a charcoal disc in a fireproof dish, hold a flame to the disc until lit. Let charcoal warm for a few minutes. Sprinkle a small amount of incense mix onto the disc and allow the resins and botanicals to release their aromatic oils through the smoke. Gently waft the smoke throughout your space. Add more incense as desired.

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep tin tightly sealed when not in use to maintain freshness.
