CLOSED UNTIL THE BUILDING HAS HEAT

Well, we are closed AGAIN, due to the building having no heat. In Winnipeg. In January.

It’s 10 degrees in the store, the boiler is off, the chimney is messed up, the electric heaters keep throwing the breakers. There is currently no one in the building working on the boiler, so we won’t be open tomorrow either, because it won’t be repaired.

The boiler went last Sunday, the carbon monoxide monitors have been going off, and there’s something wrong with the chimney. The landlords waited to call in a specialist until yesterday.

I wish I could say I knew when we’d be open again, but I can’t ask anyone to work in these conditions, and don’t want to expose staff or customers to a ✨ potential gas leak ✨ so we are playing it by ear.
