Code Red - Covid Update

Hi, friends. We hope you and your loved ones are keeping healthy and safe. While a shut down like this is hard on small businesses, it's a very important step in the fight against Covid-19. 

We will be closed from November 11 until the restrictions ease.

There are a couple of steps for getting your items to you with the new guidelines in place.

The most straightforward method is to purchase online at www.prairieskygeneralstore.com, however not everything in the store is listed quite yet. We're getting there! You can pay via Visa, MasterCard or PayPal through the website. Locals can choose the free pick up option at checkout.

If there's a particular title that you'd like us to order in, we're placing orders multiple times a week. We are happy to special order books for you.

In the case of special orders or items that are not online, we can accept e-transfer (email address is skybooks@mts.net) or you’re welcome to phone the store with a credit card (204-774-6152). Items do need to be paid for before pick up, as government regulations do not allow us to accept payment at the door.

Contactless pickup is available Monday to Saturday from 12-6 pm and Sundays from 12-4 pm. If you choose this option, please knock on the door when you arrive and we will then place your parcel on a table outside the door and step back inside while you retrieve it.

Alternatively, we can get your address and put together a shipping quote from Canada Post. We’ll then let you know the total with tax of the order plus shipping, and mail within one day.
