O Canada

As you may know, in addition to books, we sell a lot of imports at Prairie Sky. This includes decor from India, jewelry from Thailand, beautiful cards, stationery and giftware from the UK, and more!

We are intentional in our buying, and are moving away from ordering/not re-stocking items from the few larger US-based suppliers we’ve used in the past. 

At the moment, we currently continue to support a small number of progressive BIPOC-owned, women-owned & 2SLGBTQ+ -owned businesses and makers in the US. We don’t want these small businesses & resisters to suffer more than they already are, but recognize that tariffs may make stocking these items untenable.

Something to note is that visitors to our website can search for Canadian Brands and Canadian Made goods in each of our online collections. In our book collections, Canadian Authors can be searched for as well. Simply tap the “Filter By” button in any collection to view Canadian items and brands.
