Our love for spooky season kicks off on October 1st, with the release of our limited edition 45th birthday “Definitely Not Cursed Objects” Mystery Bags. We put a lot of energy and care into making 45 mystery bags we’d be excited to open ourselves, and hope you’ll love them too!
Many of you know that Halloween is our favourite occasion around here, and October 3rd is when we start putting our Halloween items out. (We hope to have it all available in store and online for you by the end of the week!) We’ve got some amazing stuff this season, with even more on the way. You can count on spooky decor, fun jewelry, and witchy reads.
We’ve collected enough vintage crystal ball stands to have a small drop! We’ll post on social media the day before we list them. These go fast, so please keep a look out!
We’re also pretty excited about our Halloween decorating, and are going full-blown Pinterest Craft Lady this month. Stay tuned for what could be some epic crafting fails.
Friday, October 13th will kick off our two-day sale, and Saturday, October 14th will be our Halloween-themed 45th Birthday Party celebration, which will be our biggest event of the year! (We’ll tell you all the sale details on Oct. 12.)
On Saturday, we’ll have some special treats in store from our friends at Organic Planet and Decadence Chocolates, and every purchase over $45 can Spin to Win a quirky little prize!
On Sunday, Oct. 15th, Giving Up The Ghost podcast will be recording in the store, so be sure to say hello, and listen to them share some history of the shop! Have you heard of our ghost friend, Digby? We think you’ll be interested in his story, and we bet he’ll be interested in what’s going on in his shop.
Spooky Season items will continue to flow in throughout the month, and as always, we encourage you to bring the kiddos for early trick-or-treating on Halloween, from 3-6 pm.
